Other Will

This series is about a feeling that something acts on its own, not fully under my control.

All works are based on the same head form. Instead of changing it, I add elements that grow, attach, or settle on the surface, slowly shifting the figure's balance.

These additions feel like they belong to the form while at the same time following their own logic. They are not separate, yet not entirely controlled.

Color is important here. Each work uses a small palette, often just two main colors, which makes the tension more visible. Certain patterns also return from one piece to another and become part of my visual language.

This “other will” is not something external. It exists within the form, creating a sense of uncertainty, as if the figure cannot fully settle into one state.

The works don’t try to resolve this. They stay somewhere in between, where different impulses coexist without fully merging.
